Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but in my rush to leave the house I didn’t grab anything for lunch. (I decided I am going to keep the title “Smoky Links” for now because I find it mildly hilarious!)

These are some of the things I found this week that I absolutely loved!

Brooke at World of Wanderlust made a list of 5 Nonfiction Books to Read on a Plane

AMC is doing an adaptation of Preacher (which I didn’t know) and they have cast Ruth Negga as Tulip

Not one, but TWO things from BUST Magazine (my fave!):

  • 7 gorgeous images of senior citizens show how tattoos age (this is from last week, but I didn’t see it til after my blogroll was published last week) (NSFW!)
  • on a more dire note that is a little closer to home, Detroit has a rape kit situation

International Geek Girl Pen Pals (IGGPPC) turns 2 this month! Here are some numbers about the organization and its success! Want to know how many Iggles there are in Iceland and New Zealand (and the US and Canada and just about everywhere?)

Kacie read the entire Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot this month. For the first time ever!

Gwen of The Book Nosher (a book blog I follow) started a new blog called Hello, Gwen Stacy.

And at Jezebel, they applauded Broad City‘s response to randos who tell you to “smile, sweetheart” (AKA the one thing I hate most)

I don’t know if it’s just my computer, but I’m having a hard time telling the difference between the color of your text and the text color of links. 😦

You also eat a lot better than me. My breakfast tends to be a Cliff Bar.

Thanks for including me 🙂 And I’ll have to take a look at that nonfiction list, even if I don’t plan on being on a plane anytime soon XD

I am thinking of making my own list like that! Probably for the summer. 5 Non-Fiction Beach Reads or something. Would you read something like that?
